Currently Loving: Vintage Stemware
This is by no means a new love of mine, but it deserves to be highlighted that now you don’t have to search all that deep to find unique stemware. You used to have to go to thrift stores and estate sales to find vintage glassware, but now bigger companies like Anthropology and CB2 are creating timeless pieces that are much more accessible to curate your own collection. If you’re not into hunting down a collection but still want to handpick your items, then heading to Etsy or Ebay has a lot of really great options. I’ve listed below a rainbow of my favorite vintage inspired stemware to get you started on your own collection.
The beauty of this trend is that there is no right or wrong way to create your own collection. It's a simple: you like it, you buy it. If it catches your eye, have that be your anchor and build it off that. My collection started with this super cute set of rose pink wine goblets and so I kept with the muted jewel tones.
When buying on Etsy or Ebay, it might be wise to buy a lead testing kit to determine whether or not it’s safe to drink out of or if they’re just decorative. When conducting your online search, a couple key words to use are:
Vintage Glass Goblets,
Indiana Glass,
Colony Park Lane,
Imperial Old Williamsburg,
Noritake Perspective,
Arcoroc Luminarc France,
Depression Glasses,
Mt Vernon,
Fostoria Heritage
